“I Want to Be Like a Book”
“I want to be like a book you feel made a big difference and changed your life too. One you need and want to read over and over again. And when you are reading it you just do not want to put it down. When you read it again, each time you gain more insights and joy from it. It has the ability to make you smile, laugh, cry, think, aroused, and it also makes you feel good about yourself and life too. The kind of book that you never dog ear, leave out in the rain, you carry close to you, keep it safe, find it utterly fascinating, think it is never dull or boring; the kind of book you cherish, tell others about because “Hey, this book is really great!”. The kind of book you like to have in bed with you, one you enjoy curling up with each winter, take on vacation with each summer. The kind you’d never loan out even to a friend for fear they’d hurt it, ruin, damage or lose it. The kind of book that you’d never think of replacing with a newer copy of even though it is getting a bit wrinkled, frayed, a page or two is ripped and taped up, it is yellowing from age, the spine is a tad bent too from reading it so much. Even so, you really never want to Not have this your favourite book ever in your life. … Yeah, I definitely want to be like that kind of book to you.”
