Dreams In Thyme
Ramblings of a Minx: Sometimes I wish I were a less Thorny Rose…

Sometimes I wish I were a less Thorny Rose… as I tend to draw blood from ones I care deeply for… most often I do not even mean to *Le Sigh*

I wonder if Mother Nature gave Roses their Thorns to protect them from over zealous Rose Lovers? I mean really Mom, why fore the thorns on a gorgeous sweet scented flower?
Such are the random thoughts I get.

I’d like to sit down and ask The Master Gardener why a Rose needs such protection. I wonder too if we who are prickly thorny Roses are so thorny from improper handling by others? Do we draw blood out of self defense or to protect ourselves from the pain we feel and/or perceive?

Is there a way to not do so? Or to know When to do so?
I hope there is. I detest hurting others.

My Hope is that Someone Someday thinks I am a Rose worth dealing with, in spite of my thorniness.

This is so lush, passionate, sexy, erotic, and (is) an alluring mature look to this lady.
